Part 2 : No.Morphism

Morphism series

This piece is about the dychotomy between the invisibilisation of women and the omnipresence of their bodies. It's a reflexion from the eternal feeling that the voice ( mind ) is less important that the body. As a woman – as a dancer, as a human being, how does all the systemics statements transform me, eat my strengh and digest my will power.

This piece is about the dychotomy between the invisibilisation of women and the omnipresence of their bodies. What to do with that ? Is this body really mine ? Are my thoughts the only part of me that remain untouchable ? Or is it the opposite ? Using masks, voice, sample from mysogene songs and talks, and specific lights. Angryness. Sadness. But power. A LOT of power. And softness, still.
